Acts 2:1-41 - Power to Witness - From our Series "Acts: The Story Continues..."

Power to Witness | Acts 2

When Jesus fills His Church with His Spirit, everything changes.

In Acts 2, we see a powerful picture of a people who were devoted to Christ, united in purpose, and filled with the presence of God Himself. What began as a small group waiting in prayer became a Spirit-empowered movement that would carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.

But this isn’t just a moment in history.

The same Spirit who came at Pentecost is still at work today—bringing life, transforming hearts, and empowering ordinary people to become witnesses of the risen Christ.

In this message from our series,“Acts: The Story Continues,”we explore what really happened at Pentecost and why it matters for us today. As the Spirit fills the disciples, we see not only a display of power, but the beginning of a mission—God working in and through His people to proclaim the mighty works of Christ.

The question is not just what happened then…

…but what it looks like for us to live with that same power today.

Because the purpose of the Holy Spirit is not simply to give us experiences…

but to empower us to live for Christ and bear witness to Him in our everyday lives.
