The King Has Come - Palm Sunday

The King has come… but will we recognize Him?

For generations, God’s people waited for a King—a righteous ruler who would bring salvation and restore what was lost. Through the prophet Zechariah, God promised that this King would come in humility, bringing peace.

And then… He came.

In Jesus, the eternal Word took on flesh and entered a world darkened by sin. As He rode into Jerusalem, the crowds rejoiced, declaring Him King. But while they celebrated, they misunderstood. They longed for a political savior—yet Jesus came to accomplish something far greater.

In this Palm Sunday message, we are confronted with a sobering truth: it is possible to be close to Jesus, to celebrate Him, and still miss Him.

The King has come—not to meet our expectations, but to fulfill God’s plan of redemption.

The question is not whether He has come…
but whether we will receive Him as He truly is.
