Week 2: Who Will Save Us?
Who Will Save Us - Week 2 of our Lent Series: A Look in the Mirror
We were never meant to save ourselves.
From the very beginning, humanity has wrestled with doubt—questioning God’s goodness, His love, and whether He can truly be trusted. And when those doubts take root, we instinctively take matters into our own hands.
In Genesis, we see this pattern unfold. From the garden to Babel to Abraham, the story is the same: we try to fix what’s broken, cover our shame, and fulfill God’s promises by our own strength. But again and again, human effort falls short.
In this message from“A Look in the Mirror,”we see that we are not the heroes of the story... we are the ones in need of saving. And the good news is this: God’s promises have never depended on us.
Because while humanity says, “We will,”
God declares,“I will.”
And in the end, our redemption rests not on our ability… but on His.
